I once chatted with a veteran asking him how he was able to counsel other soldiers over the years while never losing both his positivity as well as his love for country. Completely ignoring both his prosthetic legs, he looked right at me and responded, "I simply take it to the core."


“Adon Olam,” from my album Prayers & Dreams, reimagines Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden at the moment innocence becomes choice. It’s a story of love, temptation, and the first step into being fully human.

My version of Fly Me to the Moon – a little different and a bit harder than the wonderful Sinatra standard.

Back in music school, a professor called me one morning and said, “Write a piano piece before you get here this afternoon.” Challenge accepted. I’m not sure I can still play it at that speed, but it was fun to write!
